Case Study on Our Work in Sierra Leone

Posted on: 30th May 2013

The Overseas Development Institute has published three new case studies, including one on AGI, as part of its research on how aid can be best packaged to support governance and institutional development. As well as AGI’s work in Sierra Leone, ODI have looked at projects in both Tanzania and Uganda.

The AGI case study looks at the support we have been giving to the Government of Sierra Leone since 2008, particularly in the agriculture, health, and trade ministries while also looking at our work in the Office of the President.

AGI Director Andy Ratcliffe also took part in an event focussing on the research which took place at the ODI. You can read a report of the event from the UN's IRIN news wire here.

The work described here was carried out by the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative, it is now being continued by the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
