Angélique Lecorps is a political and security consultant with extensive experience advising and reporting on hostile and fragile environments, complemented by several assignments in Iraq. She has advised government agencies and major international organisations on critical business decisions and played a key role in crisis management teams in previous positions as intelligence and risk analyst. Following the November 2015 attacks in Paris, Angélique provided commentary on BBC News, CNN and Sky News as a subject matter expert on ISIS and has since written and presented on associated risks in Europe and the Middle East. Angélique also chairs the Iraq-Britain Business Council (IBBC)’s Women in Business group, aimed at promoting the role of women in business and society in Iraq and the wider region. Angélique holds an MA in Modern Languages specialising in Conference Interpreting from the Université Catholique de l’Ouest (France) and an MA in Intelligence & International Security from King’s College London.
