Cristina Ariza is a research analyst in the Governance team at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. Her work focuses on researching issues of extremism, including Islamism and the far right.

Before joining the Institute, Cristina worked as a freelance researcher in projects about radicalisation and counter-radicalisation in Spain and several UK think tanks.

Cristina holds a master’s degree in war studies (South Asia and global security) from King’s College London and an undergraduate degree in international relations and translation and interpreting from University Pontificia Comillas in Spain.
