David Adler is a policy coordinator at the Democracy in Europe Movement 2025. He was previously a research fellow in the Renewing the Centre team at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, where he developed policy solutions and contributed to the debate on the challenges of the welfare state. As a Rhodes scholar at New College, University of Oxford, David most recently examined the drivers of the British housing crisis and the rise of Generation Rent.
David’s previous research focused on India and Mexico. At the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi, he investigated the Delhi Development Authority and the role of bureaucracy in slum redevelopment. As a Fulbright scholar at the Colegio de México in Mexico City, he developed an inclusive housing strategy for the Housing Commission of the Mexican Senate.
David has written for a variety of publications, including Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy and the Guardian.
