Dr Lilla Schumicky-Logan holds MA diplomas in both Philosophy and Cultural Anthropology and has received her PhD degree at the Peace Studies Department of the University of Bradford, UK. Her areas of expertise include re-integration and rehabilitation of at-risk youth in conflict and post-conflict settings with focus on social skills development. Lilla has worked for Universities, NGOs and the United Nations in Sierra Leone, Gambia, Uganda, DR Congo, Kenya, Somalia, Lebanon/Syria and Switzerland. She regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals and popular blogs. She works with the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) on preventing and countering violent extremism as Head of the Portfolio Management (programme) Unit.
