Rachael Garner

Researcher, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change


Rachael Garner is a researcher in the Co-Existence team at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. She works on the Global Extremism Monitor, which tracks incidents of violent religious extremism. Using the data, Rachael researches the causes and drivers of extremism and related trends. She also co-writes the weekly Co-Existence news brief, which provides bitesize analysis of major stories involving extremism, conflict, and geopolitics from around the world.

Rachael graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in sociology.
