Benjamin Welby

Ben has more than 15 years of experience in digital-government transformation, service design and public-sector reform, working with governments in the UK and internationally.

At TBI, Ben helps governments harness technology, data and new ways of working to improve public services. His work includes supporting digital-government transformation in Mozambique alongside the World Bank. He hopes to help governments deliver services that better reflect people’s needs and make a meaningful difference to their lives.

Prior to joining TBI, Ben was part of the pioneering Government Digital Service, where he worked on the launch of GOV.UK. He also worked at the OECD, developing international frameworks and research to support digital-government transformation and strengthen institutional capabilities.
