Calum Handforth

Calum focuses on digital transformation and governance and helps shape the Institute’s thinking on the digital economy. He has worked with leaders to position technology as a strategic tool for inclusive, citizen-focused delivery and works with our country teams in embedding technological innovation across the public sector.

Before joining TBI, Calum worked with the United Nations Development Programme, advising country offices on digital transformation, technology and innovation. He has also worked across national and local government, the private sector, and the international development sector.

He is driven by the belief that technology should be used to amplify the best of government and public service – delivering meaningful impact and ensuring that no one is left behind.
