Mariama Anthony-Williams

Mariama brings deep experience and ambitious vision to Sierra Leone, where she supports improvements in economic, educational and social outcomes both at the centre of government and sub-national level.

Through her expertise in management consulting, she advises the president and key ministers on the strategy, policy and delivery of flagship projects. Since joining TBI in 2020, she has been instrumental in bringing about change in the human-capital-development aspirations of the government and spearheading policy reforms in the Ministry of Agriculture through promoting technology and private-sector participation.

Mariama is proud to have served for seven years on the advisory board for the Open Society Initiative for West Africa. She is also a fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative West Africa, which is part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
