Wes Streeting

Wes Streeting has been the MP for Ilford North since 2015 and is currently secretary of state for health and social care. He previously sat on the House of Commons Treasury Committee and served as shadow secretary of state for child poverty, shadow minister for schools and shadow exchequer secretary to the Treasury. Prior to being an MP, Streeting worked in senior leadership roles, including as chief executive, for a number of national charities focused on tackling inequality and educational disadvantage. He is also an author, having written his memoir One Boy, Two Bills and a Fry Up.
