Jean Heery is a researcher in the Co-Existence team at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. She works on the Global Extremism Monitor, tracking incidents of violent and nonviolent religious extremism and efforts to counter it. She also co-writes the weekly Co-Existence news brief, which provides bitesize analysis of major stories involving extremism, conflict, and geopolitics from around the world.
Jean has experience in a range of national and international NGOs and has worked in policy, public affairs, and campaigns teams. She graduated from the University of Leicester with a degree in international relations.
