After an extended election cycle, Liberia’s newly elected leader, President George Weah, took office to a packed stadium of exuberant supporters on 22nd January. A week later, the freshly inaugurated President stood before Liberia’s Congress to deliver the annual constitutionally-mandated State of the Nation address.
