Ilaria Calvello

Ilaria focuses on strengthening the United Kingdom’s life sciences and biotech ecosystem, drawing on a scientific background in genomics, regenerative medicine, and emerging therapeutic platforms such as digital and AI-enabled interventions. At TBI, her work spans health policy, economic modelling and delivery-system design, aimed at translating innovation into scalable, equitable solutions. 

Recently, she has advised on regulatory and investment frameworks to support biotech growth. Ilaria is committed to ensuring health innovation delivers long-term impact and fair access across the health-care system. She joined TBI in November 2024.
