At an event hosted in the House of Commons, TBI Director of Health Policy Dr Charlotte Refsum brought together leaders from government, industry and global health to discuss how the UK can rebuild its vaccine-manufacturing capacity, drawing on new TBI policy work.

Munich Security Conference

FEBRUARY 2026, MUNICH

TBI experts took part in private engagements at the conference. Strategic Counsellor General Sir Nick Carter joined a discussion on Europe’s defence capability and strategic agency, arguing that the continent must take greater responsibility for its own security and act at pace and scale. Director of Health Policy Dr Charlotte Refsum also contributed to a roundtable on vaccine sovereignty.

India AI Impact Summit

FEBRUARY 2026, NEW DELHI

Our exclusive half-day gathering brought together political leaders, technologists and policy experts to discuss how governments can translate AI capability into measurable public value, from growth and resilience to better services for citizens. The programme featured a conversation between former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Meta Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang on the leadership choices shaping AI’s real-world impact.

The United Nations General Assembly 2025

SEPTEMBER 2025, NEW YORK CITY

At the 80th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), we contributed to global discussions on how AI and data can help reimagine the way governments operate and deliver. Our Executive Chairman Tony Blair also joined Arnold Schwarzenegger to explore leadership in the age of climate disruption, with a focus on the three climate superpowers: communication, technology and nature.
