Since joining TBI in 2022, Edward’s research has focused on Chinese politics and China’s role in international relations, as well as global challenges such as food insecurity. He has co-authored papers and analysis on topics including the 20th Chinese Communist Party congress and instability in the Sahel and Horn of Africa.
Through his work, Edward seeks to foster constructive dialogue between China and the West, and to help governments worldwide interact more effectively with Chinese business and institutions.
