Mr Blair has written to the Chair of the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee (NIAC) to respond to follow-up questions asked by the Committee.
In the letter Mr. Blair makes clear, as far as he is aware, the issue of compensation for the victims of Libyan-sponsored IRA terrorism was not raised with him in government. He also did not raise the issue of IRA victims with President Bush in any meeting in 2008 with him, nor any detail about the Lockerbie compensation. He was not in Government at the time.
