- ^ A curriculum map clearly defines the order in which pupils go through content so that they are prepared for each successive lesson. The sequence of lessons ensures that, together, they lead to a pre-defined set of learning objectives (such as minimum proficiency in reading). The content itself (for example, short video clips) can then be created separately and presented to pupils in the right order.
