Dr. Brett Meyer is a research fellow at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. His areas of work at the Institute include global populism and voting behaviour in advanced democracies. A political scientist, Brett has also worked on minimum wage policy and the consequences of economic polarization for labor market politics in advanced democracies. His work has been featured in top academic journals in political science, sociology, and public policy, including World Politics, Research & Politics, Socio-Economic Review, and Journal of Public Policy. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University and has received research fellowships from several organizations, including the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Berlin Program for Advanced German and European Studies.
