Glen O’Hara is professor of modern and contemporary history at Oxford Brookes University. A former journalist at the Independent, he is the author or editor of many books and articles about modern Britain, including Governing Post-War Britain: The Paradoxes of Progress, 1951–1973 (2012) and The Politics of Water in Post-War Britain (2017). He is a regular commentator on public policy, governance and opinion polling, for instance on the New Statesman’s “The Staggers” blog. He tweets at @gsoh31 and blogs at “Public Policy and the Past”.
